Wearing all black is not prohibited in Islam, however it is crucial to understand that the religion does not enforce a specific dress code for daily wear.
In Islam, wearing black clothes is allowed. Wearing black clothing is not prohibited, and it is not regarded haram (forbidden) in Islamic teachings.
Islamic dress refers to the styles of clothing that Muslims
wear according to the rules set forth in Islamic teachings. Islamic dress primarily
serves to maintain dignity and modesty as well as representing Islamic
principles and values.
The wearing of black clothing, whether by a man or a woman,
is permissible in principle, hence there is no harm in doing.
Allah Says:
And He has made subservient to you, out of His will,
whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, all of it (under a
system). Surely, there are signs in it for those who ponder.
Surah Al Jathiyah Verse No 13.
Clothes are included in the above mentioned verse.
Here is a simple explanation of Why it is not Prohibited in
Islam to Wear a Black Clothes.
The Black
Flags from Khorasan:
A prophecy about the end times, specifically the arrival of
a group of People who will emerge in the East carrying black flags or banners,
is symbolized by the "black flag" in Islam. In Islamic eschatology,
this group of people is referred to as the "Army of Black Banners" or
the "Army of the Mahdi".
"
Narrated ‘Abd Allah (b. Mas’ud):
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: “When the
black flags come from Khurasan, go to them, for among them is the khalifah of
Allah, the Mahdi.”

al-‘Ulama wa Ara al-Firaq al-Mukhtalifah (Beirut: Dar Ibn Hazm; 1st edition,
1420 H), p. 158, # 2
The black flag is also associated with the concept of Jihad,
or struggle in Allah's way. This is because black flags were used to announce
the start of an army mission in the early days of Islam.
So black is not forbidden in Islam, and there are several
hadith in which The Last Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) wears black clothing, which is
mentioned below.

Ja'far b. 'Amr b. Huraith reported his father as saying: As
if I am seeing Allah's Messenger (ﷺ ) on the pulpit with a black turban on his

Jabir b. 'Abdullah al-Ansari (Allah be pleased with them) reported
that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) entered Mecca and Qutaiba (another narrator) stated
that he entered Mecca in the Year of Victory, wearing a black turban, but not
